Evelia LeBlanc Chaisson, 81, a native of Donner, La., and resident of Montegut, La., died Tuesday, June 10, 2014.
Mrs. Chaisson enjoyed spending time with family and friends and especially enjoyed Christmas. She was a loving and caring wife and mother. She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
She is survived by her children, Mary (George) Jaubert and Dudley Jr. and Joey (Maria) Chaisson; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dudley Chaisson Sr.; son, Donald Chaisson; parents, Luke and Celestine LeBlanc; brothers, Clifton and Luke LeBlanc; and sister, Rita Leonard.
Interment is at Bisland Cemetery. (Chauvin)
