Council restricts multi-colored tombs
January 23, 2012Everett Miles Sterling, 84, a native of Toledo, Ohio and resident of Houma, La., died Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2012
Mr. Sterling was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was a manager for Radio Shack for 25 years.
He is survived by his wife, Mailu Sterling; daughters, Jennifer (Jan) Hebert and Fay (Peter) Geenhuizen; son, William (Diane) Sterling; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Everett and Ethel Sterling; grandchild, Ben Hebert; and sisters, Zoe Baer and Ruth Zepp.
Services will be at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 21, at Chauvin Funeral Home. (Chauvin)
