December 4, 2010Ezekiel Marcus Augman Jr., 70, a resident of Patterson, La., and native of Lafayette, La., died at 10:17 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 25, 2010.
Mr. Augman, a veteran of the United States Army, later joined the United States Marine Corp. He was a nightclub owner and a trainer of Lil League Baseball for many years.
He is survived by his son, Stephen Augman; daughter, Virginia Augman; brother, Rev. William Augman Sr.; sister, Annie Augman; six grandchildren; one step-grandchild; and a host of relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ezekiel Augman Sr., mother, Parme Augman; three brothers, Nathan, Lloyd and Willie Augman; one niece, Elma Williams; and uncles and aunts.
He is buried at Shield Cemetery.
