December 30, 2011Ezella “Chippy” Josephine Luke, 81, a native and resident of Houma, La., died at 10:40 p.m. Friday, Dec. 23, 2011.
Mrs. Luke loved to go to the casino, play bingo and cook with her family. Most importantly she loved being with her family. She was a parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church.
She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Thibodeaux, Tammy (Alex) Cabanilla, Sandra (Dean) Johnson and Rachael Luke; sons, Jerry, Harold, Henry (Anna), Timmy (Trudy), Jody and Danny (Lisa) Luke; sisters, Zelthia LeBouef and Jane Pellegrin; brothers, James, Eugene and Lawrence Trosclair; 21 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Luke; son, Carl Luke; parents Mary and Julian Trosclair; brothers, Rudy and Joseph Trosclair; and sister, Ruth Aucoin.
Burial was at Holy Family Catholic Church Cemetery. (Chauvin)
