Farrel T. Cheramie, 55, a native and resident of Cut Off, La., died Sunday, June 14, at 8:58 a.m.
He is survived by his mother, Mirabell C. Cheramie; son, Yon M. Cheramie; daughter, Adrienne Cheramie; brother, John Cheramie and wife Nita; sister, Jessica Kirkley and husband Hoyt; two grandchildren; three nephews; and three nieces.
He was preceded in death by his father, Johnny J. Cheramie; and sister Roxanne Cheramie.
He was a maintenance supervisor at South Lafourche Nursing Home and a retired boat captain.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, June 19, and 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, June 20, at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano, La. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galliano with burial at Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
