Flossie Lirette White, 86, a resident and native of Chauvin, LA., died Saturday, February 3, 2007.
Visitation will be from 2 to 3 p.m., in which a mass will be held, Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Chauvin. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her sons, Allen and Stephen White, and Frank White, Jr. and wife, Darlene; two daughters, Janet Matherne and Debra Trosclair; one brother, Delvin “Popus” Lirette, Sr.; one sister, Blanche Authement; 10 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and 9 great-great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Frank White, Sr.; her parents, Antole and Eleanor Authement Lirette; one daughter-in-law, Elaine White; one son-in-law, Bobby Matherne, and her brothers, Lawrence and Russell “Poone” Lirette.
Samart Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.
