Floyd John Henry, 83, a native of Houma, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Wednesday, April 13, 2011.


Mr. Henry was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church. He was past vice president of First National Bank, now Whitney Bank.


He is survived by wife, Marion Toups Henry; sons, John (Jeannine) Henry; daughters, Evelyn (Al) Cunningham, Karen (Mark) Killion and Linda (Kent) White; brother, Harris (Judith) Henry; sister, Lelia (Raymond) Guidry; nine grandchildren, Melinda Hurlburt, Angel Trahan, Michelle Bergeron, Johnny Haslitt, 2nd Lt. Steven White, Sara White, Christopher White, Heather Leal and Aimee Huff; 14 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Helen and Lenist Paul Henry; and brothers, Delvin Henry.

He is buried at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. (Chauvin)
