Floyd Walters

Floyd K. Walters, 92, a native of Bienville, La. and a resident of Terrebonne Parish died Saturday, June 9, 2007.

He is survived by his companion, Fannie Davis; two sons, Roosevelt and Charles Walters; three daughters, Willie Mae Gassery, Shelia Harris and Mary B. Smith; 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Susan Kurdall and Marvin and Pinkey Walters; two sons, Billy Ray and Floyd Walters, Sr.; four brothers and five sisters.

Floyd was a member of Christ Baptist Church. He was a laborer and enjoyed meeting people.

Visitation and Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2007 at First Corinthian Baptist Church beginning at 9:00am. He will be buried at Christ Baptist Church Cemetery.

Community Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
