Frances Billiot Loupe, 48, a native of Lockport, La. and resident of Raceland, La. died Saturday, December 8, 2007.


She is survived by her husband, Leonard Loupe; her mother, Elvire Billiot; three sons, Jason Loupe and his wife Ashley, Justin Loupe and his wife Casey, and Joshua Loupe; five brothers, Steve, Melvin, Russell, Magnelda, Jr., and Irvin Billiot; three sisters, Thelma Griffin, Joyce Crosby, and Velma Boudreaux; and one grandchild, Dakota Loupe.

She was preceded in death by her father, Magnelda Billiot, Sr.; one sister, Lisa Detillier; and one grandchild, Dayne Loupe.


Frances was a devout Catholic and a parishioner of Holy Savoir Catholic Church in Lockport. She was a 7-year Wal-Mart employee.

Visitation is Tuesday, December 11, 2007, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., with the funeral to follow at Holy Savoir Catholic Church. She will be buried in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to help with funeral costs.

Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
