Francis “Frenchy” Al Dufrene Jr., 59, a native of Golden Meadow, La., and a resident of Larose, La., died Tuesday, Sept. 29, at 9:39 p.m.
He is survived by his mother, Bella Callais Dufrene; four sons, Dustin Dufrene, Dane Dufrene and wife Karen, Donny Dufrene and wife Melissa, and Damon Dufrene; two brothers, Wade Dufrene and Patrick “Pat” Dufrene; two sisters, Verna Hebert and Wanda Dufrene LeBlanc; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 39 years, Cora Thibodaux Dufrene; and father, Francis A. Dufrene Sr.
He enjoyed fishing.
The services will be private.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off, La., is in charge of the arrangements.
