Francis Joseph Gravois, 77, a native and resident of Vacherie, La., died Thursday, June 12.
He is survived by his wife, Marlene Constant Gravois; sons, Stanley, Gary, Kenneth, Patrick, Jerry and Burt Gravois; daughters, Judy Pitre, Flora Duet, Mary Benoit, Kathy Talbot, Jamie Gravois and Joan Danos; brothers, Edwin and Allen Gravois; sisters, Annie Granier and Jeannie Laiche; 23 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Felix and Effie Steib Gravois; son, James Gravois; brothers, Raymond and Philip Gravois; and sisters, Millie Webre and Lydia Labat.
He was buried at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church Cemetery in Vacherie.
Landry’s Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
