Frank John Burgard Jr., 65, a native of New Orleans, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died Saturday, Oct. 3, at 3:35 p.m.
He is survived by his wife, Lydia Hansen Burgard; two sons, Frank Burgard III and wife Kriss Conyers, and Ross Burgard and fiancé Shawny Nell; two daughters, Pam and husband Jimmy Armstrong, and Tammy and husband Clay Usie; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank J. Sr. and Mary Mustacchia Burgard.
He was a veteran of the Louisiana National Guard.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 6, and 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7, at Falgout Funeral Home’s Chapel in Houma. The funeral service will be at 12 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with burial at St. Francis Cemetery #2.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
