Frank J. Lorranine, 79, a resident of Galliano, LA. and a native of Cut Off, LA., died 6:10 a.m. Saturday, April 7, 2007.


Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 10, 2007 at Our Lady of Prompt Succor in Golden Meadow, LA. A mass will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Prompt Succor in Golden Meadow. Burial will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Cut Off.

He is survived by his wife, Geraldine T. Lorraine; two daughters, Diana L. Soudelier and husband, Louis Jr., Debbie L. Cheramie and husband, Ricky; his step daughters, Monique Borne and husband, Travis, Sabrina Cheramie and husband, Kevin, Nicole Duet and fiance, Trent Callais, Deborah Chouest, and Faye Gisclair; his brother, Joseph Lorraine Jr.; his sister, Hilda L. Lefont; 12 grandchildren; 8 step-grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and 5 step-great-grandchildren.


He is preceded in death by his wife of his first marriage, Rona B. Lorraine; his parents, Joseph Sr. and Grace Pitre Lorraine; his son, Edward P. Lorraine Sr.; his mother-in-law, Rose B. Watler; his brother, Lindberg Lorraine Sr.; and his sister, Edia L. Orgeron.

He was a parishoner of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church.

He was a retired fisherman, a member of the Greenhead Club, and a 3rd and 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus.
