Frank Leslie McNabb, 65, a native of Kentwood, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Monday, July 26, 2010.


Mr. McNabb was the founder and past owner of Applied Hydraulics Crane Company. He was the recipient of the 1989 Private Industry Work Connection Award, 1993 Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year Award with the Key to the City and 1994 District 3 Lantern Award. He was a Harley Davidson enthusiast who enjoyed the great outdoors. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #481. Always with a generous heart he was a contributor to various community non-profit organizations.


He is survived by his mother, Minnie Jenkins McNabb; son, Frank “Frankie” Wayne MCNabb; daughters, Toni Leigh (Calvin Bessonet III) McNabb and Bridget Todd; brother, Ivy McNabb; and three grandchildren, Dalton Cade McNabb and Hayden John and Brooklynn Ann Bessonet.

He was preceded in death by his father, Alton McNabb; and grandfather, Hanford McNabb.
