Behind basin restoration, Maloz leads

Frankie James Governale, 74, a native and resident of Patterson, La., died at 6:37 p.m. Friday, Oct. 14, 2011.
Mr. Governale was a U.S. Army veteran and a 3rd Degree member of the Knights of Columbus, Patterson Council #1710. He was a dedicated member, lector and commentator at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Patterson and was a Eucharistic adorer at the St. Bernadette Perpetual Adoration Chapel in Bayou Vista, La.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Dianne Governale; children, Chad, James and Scott (Angie) Governale and Maria (Kent) Lantz; sisters, Jean Governale and Antoinine (Richard) Erler; and four grandsons.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Maria Governale.
Burial was at St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery in Patterson. (Ibert’s)
