Freddie Ward

Freddie “Caggie” Nolan Ward, 80, a native of Houma, La. and a resident of Terrebonne Parish died Wednesday, August 29, 2007.

He is survived by his wife, Helen Neville Ward; four sons, Alvin Turner, Nolan Turner, Cleveland, and Phillip Tuner; six daughters, Christine Ward, Joann Ringo, Aurthurline Williams, Doris Bingham, Mary Jane Bejoile, and Martha Ann Bradley; one brother, Willie Ward; and one sister, Audrey W. Aldridge.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Louise C. Ward; his parents, Willie and Elenore Smith Ward; two sons, Cleveland Ruthledge and Eddie Turner; one daughter, Lucille Kelson; one brother, Joseph Ward; and one sister, Marion McKinley.

Visitation is Tuesday, September 4, 2007, from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., with the funeral to follow at Community Funeral Home. He will be buried at Southdown Cemetery in Houma.
