Gabriel Oubre, 58, a native of Vacherie, La., and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Thursday, Sept. 16, 2010.
Mr. Oubre was a parishioner of Lady of Peace Catholic Church.
He is survived by his devoted companion, Judy Verrett; daughters, Lakisha Dumas and Shandell Harry; sons, Gabriel (Danell) Tillman, Christopher and Keith Oubre and George (Suzette) Washington Jr.; sister, Theresa Johnson; and brothers, Paul Jr. (Geraldine) and Francis Oubre.
Visitation will be 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 25, at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
