Garrett H. Gaudet, 82, a resident of Morgan City, La., died Saturday, Nov. 2, 2013.
Mr. Gaudet loved life and being on the water. He was a good man with charm and a wonderful sense of humor. He exemplified the spirit of Christ and was a servant to many. He took great pride in the family business, Gaudet Towing and believed in the importance of teaching his children the value of hard work.
He is survived by his wife, Beryl Gaudet; brother, Charles Gaudet; sons, Terry, Gary (Lisa) and Patrick (Rachel) Gaudet; daughters, Cindy (Don) Michel, Tammy (Scott) Ramsey and Nancy (Otis) Nelson; 14 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Ethel Gaudet; and sister, Evella Bronson.
Entombment is at Morgan City Mausoleum. (Hargrave)
