Gayle P. Allemore, 72, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2011.
Mr. Allemore was a past member of the North Thibodaux Fire Company.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Frances Allemore; daughters, Kim Allemore and Jude (Lut) Landry; brothers, Robert, Floyd, Lynwood and Curtis Allemore; sister, Darlene Hartman; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Lillian Allemore.
Visitation will be 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 27 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Thibodaux with mass to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery. (Samart-Mothe)
