Gayle “Mi Mi” Pierce, 63, a native of Raceland, La., and resident of Larose, La., died at 4:58 p.m. Wednesday, March 24, 2010.


Mrs. Pierce was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Larose, where she served as an Eucharistic minister and lector.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Sullivan “Sully” Pierce; father, Roy Knight; sons, Shannon (Beth) and Shawn (Blair) Pierce; eight grandchildren; and brothers, Cornell “Chris” (Ann) and Roy (Tanya) Knight.

She is buried at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Larose.
