Genevieve Guidry Brunette, 90, a native and resident of Houma, La., died at 8:55 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2011.
She is survived by her daughters, Linda (Glenn) Meyer, Sandy (Robert) Picou and Donna (Jim Gast) Brunet; sons, Michial and Joe Brunette; three granddaughters, Katie Meyer, Tammy Chase and Angie Pampell; and seven great-grandchildren, Abby, Claire, Benjamin and Samuel Chase, and Nicholas, Julia and Angelica Pampell.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Peter Brunette Jr.; parents, Armand and Angelique Deroche Guidry; brothers, Irvin, Alvin and Camille Guidry; and sister, Evanzel Guidry Triche.
She is buried at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery. (Chauvin)
