Flood protection to sediment boosts initiatives
November 21, 2011Genevieve Liner Duplantis, 86, a native and resident of Houma, La., died at 7:03 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 17, 2011.
She is survived by her daughter, Grace Bourg; sister, Sylvia LeBlanc; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter Duplantis; parents, Alvin and Junius Liner; son, Udel Duplantis; and sister, Libby Senette.
A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. (Samart)
