George Edward Canty III, 43, a native of Morgan City, La., and a resident of Berwick, La., died Saturday, Jan. 9, 2010.
He is survived by his parents, George Jr. and Una Canty; brothers, Shawn (Tammy) and Bannon Canty; and sister, Gwendolyn (Douglas) Tellmanick.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, George Sr. and Sidney Canty, and Mitchell and Eunice Bruney.
He loved life and all people. His favorite pastime was fishing and he enjoyed hunting and being at the camp. He was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend. Always with a helping hand and ready smile, there was nothing he wouldn’t do or give. He will be sadly missed by his family and all the lives he has touched.
He is buried at Berwick Cemetery.
