Georgette Guidry Guidroz, 90, a native and resident of Golden Meadow, La., died Friday, June 13, 2014.
Mrs. Guidroz was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family and friends. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church and member of Our Lady of LaSalette, Kaycee Auxiliary, Ladies of LaSalette Altar Society, Louisiana Volunteers for Family and Community and the Red Hat Ladies of Golden Meadow.
She is survived by her daughter, Geraldine (Randy) Cedotal; brother, Melvin Guidry; one grandchild; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Guidroz; parents, Charles and Clemence Guidry; son, Gary Guidroz; and brothers, Ludovic, Leno, Nolan, C.J. and Stanley Guidry.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 17, at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery. (Samart-Mothe)
