Gov.’s wife joins effort to build Gray Habitat home

Gerald Anthony Bergeron, 74, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Wednesday, May 12, 2010.
Mr. Bergeron was a member of St. Matthews Episcopal Church. He enjoyed fishing and gardening.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Betty Harris Bergeron; children, Michael (Darla), Sheila (Dr. Mickey) Viator and Daniel (Cindy) Bergeron; brother, Harvey Bergeron; sister, Patricia Popp; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He is buried at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery.
