Gerald J. Schexnayder, 75, a native of Vacherie, La., and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Monday, April 8, 2013.
Mr. Schexnayder was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend who will be dearly missed. He was a U.S. Army veteran who served his country proudly.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Janell Schexnayder; son, Ryan (Rhonda) Schexnayder; daughters, Melissa Benoit and Sheri (Stephen Jr.) Guillot; brothers, Claude and Godfrey Schexnayder; and four grandchildren.
Interment is at St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux. (Thibodaux)
