Geraldine “Gerry” Theresa Chaisson Breaux, 73, a native of Larose, La., and resident of Belle Chasse, La., died Friday, Jan. 28, 2011, after a short illness.


Mrs. Breaux retired after 33 years of civil service with the U.S. Air Force 926th Fighter Wing.

She is survived by her husband, Laris J. Breaux Sr.; sons, Laris Jr. (Cathy) and Michael (Melanie) Breaux; sister, Loretta Rogers; brother, Wayne (Sheila) Chaisson; sister-in-law, Charlotte Chaisson; and three grandchildren, Joshua, Benjamin and Olivia Breaux.


She was preceded in death by her parents, Luke Sr. and Gertrude Mercedes Chouest Chaisson; and one brother, Luke Chaisson Jr.

She is interred at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cemetery in Belle Chasse.
