Gertie Oneika Brooks, 28, a native of Terrebonne Parish, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Tuesday, May 3, 2011.
Mrs. Brooks was Baptist and a member of Restoration of Hope Ministries. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Jordan Grey Brooks; parents, Leroy and Joyce Ray; sons, Jordan Jr. and Jaisian Brooks; brothers, Leroy Jr., Nick and Jarod (Michelle) Ray; and sisters, Celia Ray and Donna (Julis) Lagarde.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Dexter Ray.
She is buried at Southdown Cemetery. (Gertrude Geddes Willis-Terrebonne)
