March 2, 2010Gillian Marie Chauvin, 31, a native of Bayou Dularge, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Thursday, Feb. 25, 2010.
She is survived by her parents, Gerald and Gwendolyn Chauvin; brothers, Peter (Leigh) Stimpson and Jason Chauvin; sister, Jacqueline Stimpson; six nephews; three nieces; and numerous aunts and uncles.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Florence and George Webb, and Susan and Paul Chauvin; and three aunts.
Visitation will be held from 8 a.m. to funeral time Monday at Samart Funeral Home of Houma. Her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 1, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Chauvin will be buried at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of arrangements.
