December 10, 2009Girdie LeBoeuf Allemand, 99, a native and resident of Terrebonne Parish, died on Sunday, Dec. 6, 2009.
She is survived by her children, Shirley (Austin) Olivier, Rodney (Lillie) Allemand, Doris (Clayton) Theriot, Harris (Leonardine “Deanie”) and John (Mary) Allemand and Henry Whitney Prejean; 36 grandchildren; 83 great-grandchildren; and 34 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alcee “Till” Allemand; parents, Domenic and Adelaide Rodrigue LeBoeuf; daughter, Elsie Prejean; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Allemand was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Catholic Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations to a favorite charity are preferred.
She is buried at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
