Givens Williams, 47, a native of Terrebonne Parish, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died Friday, March 6, at 10:37 a.m.
He is survived by his brothers, Robert Robertson and Charles Johnson, both of Houma, and Charles McDaniel; and sister, Bertha Williams.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Merritti and Octavia Johnson; and grandparents, Louise Williams, Bunion Williams and Lillian Johnson.
He was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 17, at Gertrude Geddes Willis-Terrebonne Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow. Burial will be at Southdown Cemetery.
Gertrude Geddes Willis-Terrebonne Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
