Gladys Hebert Gros, 92, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died at 12:05 p.m. Wednesday, September 17.
She is survived by three daughters, Geraldine Tackett and husband Timothy, Joyce Deichmann and husband C.J., and Mary Ann Richard; five brothers, Raymond, Alton, Herman, Gerald and Larry Hebert; one sister, Rita Clement; 16 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wickless Gros; her parents, Elphege and Modeste Hebert; one son, Whitney Gros; one daughter, Maxine Giardina; one brother, Elphege “Posh” Hebert; one sister, Irene Clement; one son-in-law, Gillis Richard Jr.; and one great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday, September 22, at St. Genevieve Catholic Church in Thibodaux with mass to follow. She will be buried at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
