Gladys Rogers Roussell, 92, a native of Larose, La., and resident of Des Allemands, La., died Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2010.


Ms. Roussell was a parishioner of St. Gertrude Catholic Church, a member of the Ladies Altar Society and a eucharistic minister.

She is survived by her son, Raymond Roussell; daughter, Jeanette Champagne; brothers, P.J. and Roy Rogers; nine grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren.


She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Roussell Sr.; parents, Philbert and Edna Gautreaux Rogers; one son, Louis Roussell Jr.; and three brothers, Guy, Clarence and Lawrence Rogers.

She is buried at St. Mary Cemetery.
