Glen M. Toerner Sr., 71, a native of Port Arthur, Texas, and resident of Berwick, La., died Friday, Aug. 6, 2010.


Mr. Toerner was a salesman. He enjoyed cooking bar-b-que and rabbit hunting. He loved pets, fishing and watching classic movies.

He is survived by his sons, Glen Jr. and Mark Isaac Toerner; daughter, Angela Ann Toerner; sister, Sandra Pasfield; four grandchildren, Clay Toerner, Ciji Davis, Christin Toerner and Brandon Ducet; and four great-grandchildren, Kameron Davis, Willow Toerner, Michael Ray Toerner and Karson Davis.


He was preceded in death by his parents, Isaac and Genevieve Ducrest Toerner.

He is buried at Berwick Jewish Cemetery.
