February 17, 2010Gloria C. Williams, 80, a native and resident of Labadieville, La., died Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2010.
Mrs. Williams was a homemaker.
She is survived by nephews, James Jr. (Sandra) and Edwin III (Barbara); niece, Edwina (Frank Jr.); great-nieces, Faletta (Lorenzo) Acoff and Derra Charles; great-nephews, James (Kimberley) Marshall III, Frank McCray III and Jaren Marshall; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Isaac Williams; parents, Edwin Sr. and Elenora Charles; brother, Edwin Charles Jr.; and sisters, Evelyn Marshall and Audrey Charles.
Visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Morning Star Baptist Church, located on Brule Road in Thibodaux. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. at the church.
She will be buried at Morning Star Baptist Church Cemetery in Thibodaux.
Williams and Southall Funeral Home of Napoleonville is in charge of arrangements.
