Gwendolyn Turpeau, 57, a native and resident of Schriever, La., died Sunday, May 15, 2011.
Mrs. Turpeau was Baptist.
She is survived by her husband, Wilbert Paul Turpeau; son, Donald (Lisa Colbert) Bradley Jr.; daughter, Gladys Mitchell; stepchildren, Jermaine (Yvonne) and Bridgett Turpeau, and Mariel (Tyrone) Mitchell; brothers, Clarence Jr. (Melanie) and Ronald (Terese Francis) Beamon; sister, Carolyn Beamon; and eight grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Gladys Beamon; one son-in-law, Johnathan Mitchell; and one brother, Melvin Beamon.
She is buried at Moses Baptist Church Cemetery. (Kennedy)
