Hampton J. Ledet, 88, a native of Larose, La., and resident of Lockport, La., died at 9:17 a.m. Friday, Oct. 29, 2010.
Mr. Ledet was a parishioner of Holy Savior Catholic Church, was a U.S. Navy Veteran and a member of the American Legion and VFW.
He is survived by his wife, Novella Chiasson Ledet; sons, Robert (Donna) and Richard Ledet; daughters, Angela (John) Corbin and Annette (Billy) Foster; brothers, Hubert Chiasson; sister, Betty Falgout; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jeanne Ledet Chiasson and Edgar Chiasson Sr.; one brother, Edgar Chiasson Jr.; and one sister, Inez Bourg.
He is buried at Holy Savior Cemetery.
