Harold Leland Meyers Jr., 54, a native and resident of New Orleans, La., was killed in an auto accident on Monday, May 18.


He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Laurence B. Haik and Shirley Haik.


He graduated from LSU in 1976.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd. in Metairie and from 10 a.m. to funeral time Friday at St. John the Baptist Church, 1139 Oretha Castle Haley Blvd. in New Orleans. Service will be 11 a.m. Friday at the church, with interment to follow in the church cemetery in Edgard.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Terrebonne Meyers; mother, Flora Mae Haik Myers; in-laws, Maurice and Rosemary Terrebonne Sr.; two uncles, Lawrence and Allen Haik; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home of Metairie is in charge of arrangements.
