Harriet Patryn Herbst, 102, a native of Chicago, Il. and a resident of Chauvin, La. died Thursday, December 13, 2007, at 8:15 p.m.
She is survived by her daughter, Harriet “Cookie” Domangue and her husband Cleveland; two grandchildren, James Skidmore and his companion Laura Bynum and Thomas Wayne; and numerous great and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband George Herbst; her daughter, Lorraine Harper; her parents, Albert and Celia Patryn; two brothers; and two sisters.
Visitation is Wednesday, December 19, 2007, from 8:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., with the funeral to follow at Samart Funeral Home in Houma. She will be buried in St. Joseph Cemetery in Chauvin.
Samart Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
