Harris “Boo-Boo” Autin Jr., 61, a native of Golden Meadow, La., and a resident of Cut Off, La., died at 5:55 a.m. Thursday, July 24.
He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Plaisance Autin; his mother, Julia Bruce Autin; one son, James Autin, and wife Christy; one daughter, Jamie Duthu and husband Brent; one brother, Donald Autin; one sister, Yalta Autin; and four grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his father, Harris Autin Sr.
He was a member of Community Bible Church and a U.S. Army Vietnam veteran.
Visitation will be 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, July 26, at Community Bible Church in Cut Off with religious services to follow. He will be buried at Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano, La.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off is in charge of the arrangements.
