Harry T. Orgeron, 75, a native of Cut Off, La., and a resident of Lockport, La., died Tuesday, April 8, at 10:15 p.m.

He is survived by his wife, Nita Rogers Orgeron; mother, Nelda Richard Orgeron; sons, James Orgeron and David Orgeron and wife Cathy; daughters, Susan Orgeron Folse, Debra Orgeron Boudreaux and husband Ricky and Lisa Orgeron; brothers, Jimmy, Gerald and Donald Orgeron; sisters, Judy Bergeron and Ethel Theriot; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.


He was preceded in death by his father, Enez Orgeron; and brothers, Gerald, Milton and Raymond Orgeron.

He was in the U.S. Marine Corps and was a veteran of the Korean War. He was a lifetime member of the American Legion, VFW and 40 and 8. He was a parishioner of St. Hilary Catholic Church in Mathews, La.

Visitation will be 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, April 11, at St. Hilary Catholic Church with mass to follow. He will be buried at Holy Savior Cemetery in Lockport.

Falgout Funeral Home is Raceland, La. is in charge of the arrangements.
