Henry Gerald Louviere Sr., 75, a native of Jeanerette, La., and resident of Baton Rouge, La., died Sunday, Dec. 25, 2011.
Mr. Louviere was a 1954 graduate of Franklin High School, a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, a retired trooper with the Louisiana State Police and former chief of police for the Franklin Police Department.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Antoinette Louviere; children, Henry Jr. (Barbara) Louviere and Jeanne (David) Herry; sisters, Laura Leleux, Rose Jolet and Eva Bordelon; brother, Robert Louviere; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Whitney and Virginia Louviere.
Burial was at Franklin Cemetery. (Ibert’s)
