Henry “Tan Tan” Boyd, 61, a native of Raceland, La., and a resident of Thibodaux, La., died Monday, Oct. 12.


He is survived by three sisters, Mary Lee, Beatrice Steward and Everlina Tolbert and husband Burnell, all of Thibodaux; four brothers, Joseph Boyd and Ernest Boyd of Thibodaux, Junius Boyd of Raceland, and Harold Lee Boyd and wife Rutha Mae of Marrero, La; and one grandchild.


He was preceded in death by his parents, Eddie Boyd Sr. and Mamie Harris Boyd; two brothers, Eddie Boyd Jr. and Tommy Lee Boyd: one sister, Edna Boyd Victor; and grandparents, Mary Harris and Milton Harris and Johnny Boyd Sr. and Edna Boyd.

He was Baptist.

Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, at Third Zion Baptist Church in Raceland with a religious service to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery.

Kennedy Funeral Home in Raceland is in charge of the arrangements.
