Herbert “Buck” Rome, 60, a native and resident of Des Allemands, La., died Thursday, July 5, 2012.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Rome; son, Clayton (Christina) Rome; stepsons, P-Nut (Robin) and Terry Truxillo; stepdaughters, Rosemary and Rebecca Truxillo; brothers, Norman (Sylvia) and Clifford (Laura) Rome; sisters, Mavis (Terry) Jones and Nancy (Ronnie) Dowouis; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Chefter and Myrtle Rome; sister, Beatrice Roulet; and one grandson.
Burial was at St. Gertrude Cemetery. (Samart-Mothe)
