Herbert Savoie, 41, a resident of Paradis, LA. and a native of Luling, LA., died at 9:35 p.m. Monday, February 19, 2007.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Des Allemands Mennonite Church. Burial will be in the St. Gertrude Cemetery in Des Allemands, LA.
He is survived by his mother, Ethel Parks Savoie; one brother, Eldon Savoie II; two god-children; and six sisters, Charleene Hodge, Cherry Dyer, Chrystal Cortez, Carla Crochet, Camille Litton and Colleen Lirette.
He is preceded in death by his father, Eldon Savoie.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Canon Hospice of New Orleans, LA. or Des Allemands Mennonite Church.
Falgout Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.
