February 13, 2012Herman Joseph Courville, 69, a native of Eunice, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Friday, Feb. 3, 2012.
Mr. Courville was a parishioner of Maria Immacolata Catholic Church.
After retiring from the oilfield he established Southdown Bar and Grill. He was involved with CASA, and was recently named “Angel of the Year”. He enjoyed time with family, fishing, golfing and sunsets at the camp.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Cindy Courville; sons, Scott and Chad (Christine) Courville; daughter, Jennifer (Terrill) Theriot; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Laura Courville; brothers, Chester, Lester and Berton Courville; and sister, Mary Clark.
Burial was at Maria Immacolata Catholic Church Cemetery. (Chauvin)
