Hilda Brown Simon, 91, a native and resident of Paincourtville, La., died at her home Saturday, December 6.

She is survived by two daughters, Joyce S. Whitaker of White Castle, La., and Hilda Gail Anthony of Paincourtville; three sons, Robert Simon Jr. of Lynwood, Ca., Rummel C. Simon of Paincourtville and Malcolm B. Simon of Fort Walton Beach, Fl.; 16 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous relatives.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Simon Sr.; three daughters, Audrey S. Clay, Gloria Simon and Rosa J. Simon; one son, Samuel Simon; three sisters; and one brother.

She was a homemaker.

Visitation will be 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, December 12, at Williams and Southall Funeral Home in Napoleonville and 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, December 13, at Pilgrim Baptist Church in Paincourtville. A religious service will be at 12 p.m. Saturday at the church, with burial at the church cemetery.

Williams and Southall Funeral Home of Napoleonville is in charge of the arrangements.
