Hilda “Mema” Marie Cedotal Lauland, 91, a resident of Napoleonville, La., ascended into heaven in the arms of the angels Tuesday, September 9.

She is survived by three children, Audrey Campbell Raybon, Joan Lauland Wright and Michael R. Lauland; 10 grandchildren, Cindy Campbell, Kim Campbell, Sonny Campbell, Tracie Campbell Comeaux, Nain Wright, Cathy Lauland, Toni Lauland


Guillot, Blake Boudreaux, Danny Lauland and Shanna Lauland Guidry; 17 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.


She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Brownell J. Lauland Sr.; one infant daughter, Carol; and one son, Brownell J. Lauland Jr.

She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother.

Pallbearers will be Jason White, Joshua White, Jared Varnado, Nain Wright, Sonny

Campbell and Barry Aucoin.

Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 17, at St. Anne Catholic Church with mass to follow. She will be buried at the church cemetery.

Landry’s Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
