Hilliard B. Cole, 73, a native of Shadyside, La., and resident of Franklin, La., died at 6:17 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 5, 2012.
Mr. Cole was a 1957 graduate of Centerville High School. He worked at Himel Motor Supply and St. Mary Parish and was a lifetime member of the Franklin Jaycees and Lion’s Club. He loved sports and was a die-hard LSU fan.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Gwen Cole; brothers, O. J. (Tina) and Ronnie (Maria) Cole; and sisters, Sylvia (Johnny) Carter and Rita (Ronnie) Provost.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wesley and Theresa Cole.
Burial was at Franklin Cemetery. (Ibert’s)
