Honorable Bernard Lindes Knobloch, 85, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Saturday, March 14, at 3:28 p.m.
He is survived by his sons, Bernard L. Knobloch Jr. and wife Annette Borne, and Jim Knobloch and wife Chris Cheramie; sister, Margaret Knobloch Hannaman; daughter-in-law, Pamela Knobloch Borne; grandchildren, Mary Knobloch Schwartzenburg and husband Jason, Nicole Knobloch Wallace and husband Corey, Frannie K. Finley and husband Dewitt, Katherine Knobloch and Aaron Gibson Knobloch, James L. Knobloch, Emily L. Knobloch, Allison Viator and Andre Dupont; and great-grandchildren, Anneliese Finley and Hazel Finley.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lou Hoffpauir Knobloch; parents, Francis Knobloch and Estelle Capdeville; son, F. Smith “Smitty” Knobloch; brother, James Otis Knobloch; and sister, Frances Lorraine Knobloch Ryan.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Genevieve Church Renovation, St. Genevieve Catholic School or E.D. White Catholic School.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, March 17, at Thibodaux Funeral Home and 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 18, at St. Genevieve Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church with burial at St. Joseph Cemetery.
Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
